I don't do a lot of senior portraits; while I love portraiture, there's not a lot of opportunity in my town. So when Hannah's mom texted me one day to ask if I would be interested in photographing Hannah for hers, I immediately said yes! I've known Hannah and her family as long as I've been alive so it was so great to get to photograph Hannah and spend some time with her and her mom!
I've known Casey's family since I was born; our families have been friends since our parents both moved in only a couple months apart from each other, and therefore I've known Casey since she was born as well. So getting to photograph her senior portraits was such a weird but cool moment and now she's graduating from high school with my brother tomorrow! Congrats, girl!
My little brother is graduating! Look at him being all grown up! I can just remember the days when he was in diapers... okay, no I cant, because I was four. But you get the point.
Of course I would never have let him go to anyone else for his senior portraits; we actually had a surprising amount of fun with this considering we were only outside for all of twenty minutes before he started shivering... I mean, come on, shorts and a short sleeve shirt in late October? At sunset? Not a great idea. But sure looks great. :)
Congratulations, little bro. You did it!
It's been a while since I've photographed a maternity session and I kind of forgot how much I missed it. As a gift to my friend Brittney, we had a maternity session yesterday! I've known Brittney for almost seven years now, which is a little strange to think about, and I can't wait to meet her daughter soon. Babies are my weakness. ;)
I've known Mike for years. He's been a friend of my brother's so I've seen him at soccer games and at school. Who would have thought that Mike would turn into this looking giant of a handsome man?! (So tall I either had to stand on my tip toes or have him shorten himself so I could take a straight shot of him.) He's graduating this month and I am so happy for him, off to culinary school to pursue his passion! How cool is that? Congrats, Mike, I wish you the best!
