Holly & Ernest | Married in Ludlow, VT

I met with Holly and Ernest back in June for their engagement session when they had come up from their home in North Carolina for some wedding planning. Since then, I have been so excited for their October wedding and it was just as amazing as I imagined! The fall colors were perfect, the weather was bright and chilly, and they were surrounded by the best people. Thanks for letting me and Lulu be a part of your day, you two!

After the vows, Holly and Ernest's mothers were brought up to pour soil into the pot for their unity tree! So sweet, right?

So fun story: I've seen so many first dances and none like Holly and Ernest's! They descended the staircase during introductions and went right into a choreographed dance to Shut Up And Dance, one of my favorite wedding songs of the year! It was pretty fantastic.

Best bridesmaids ever! They were rocking out the whole time.

I kind of really love these two.

Thank you to my amazing second shooter Lulu for being my rock through the day! And to Holly and Ernest, congratulations! You both are such wonderful people and I know you will have an amazing life together.

Meghan & Josh | Married in New York City

Meet Meghan and Josh, one of the cutest couples I have had the honor of photographing. I met with them earlier this year when they just happened to be in New Hampshire and after hearing all about their plans for their wedding in NYC, I knew I just had to photograph it! And, despite the weather, it was a wonderful day. The rain stopped just in time for their ceremony on the beach in Brooklyn! I love smaller weddings, and their group of family and friends crowded around them to see them become husband and wife. Plus their dog got to join them for photos after, so what could be better? Thank you, Meghan and Josh, for allowing me to be a part of your day! You both are so wonderful!

After finishing up family photos, we ventured over to the carousel! It was insanely awesome, and the perfect unique touch to add to their wedding formals.

Brittany & Travis | Married in Henniker, NH

Brittany and Travis booked me a while ago for their wedding and, after a long wait, it finally happened and was just as magical as I thought it would be! There were lots of tears and even more smiles and I loved it. They were married at a ski mountain where I grew up and I felt honored to be a part of their day. Congratulations, you two!

The two at the end aren't having it. Nope.

One of the things I loved most about this wedding was a surprise for the bride, her old horse that she had to give up. Everyone was in on the secret and, even though she helped build the new stable for her, she had no clue. It was so amazing.

Dani & Melanie | Married in Cambridge, MA

Sometime in mid-July I finally got to meet Dani and Melanie in a coffee shop near where they live. I immediately fell in love with them; after emailing back and forth since November, I had a good idea of what they would be like but they were so much better. I felt like we clicked almost immediately, and by the end of our meeting we were even bonding over Harry Potter. Their wedding lived up too all of my excitement; the two of them are so obviously in love and I loved it. They were so smiley and giggly and that feeling was so infectious for everyone around them. To top it off, the rain held off and the weather was perfect, the venue was beautiful and the people were fantastic. I could not have enjoyed myself more and as a result, I have far too many images that I am so in love with - and I hope they are too! Dani and Melanie are the kind of couple that remind me why I started photographing weddings. I love love.

Just a warning, there is a lot of cuteness ahead.

It was almost impossible to get these two to stay still for pictures (at one point, we actually had them just running across the frame) but as ring bearers walking down the aisle, they were great!

After they excited the ceremony, they ran away, jumping and shouting for joy and I don't think I've ever laughed that much at the end of a ceremony ever.

Dani and Melanie, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your special day. You two are the absolute best, and I hope for all of the best things in life for you.
